As the title states. I thought with the last update that Moderator role could no longer ban Owner role, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I was promoted to Owner role (I am not the original owner), but Moderator role can still ban me. We tested it to see if it were still possible -- and yes, it's still possible.

Obi-Wan_Pierogi Is this still an issue? I think what the original post meant is that the "original" Owner can not be banned from their own server.

Cody_Alta: I can test it later today.
Yes, the issue was (is?) that the Moderator role can ban someone who has the Owner role. The original owner cannot be banned.
Essentially, if the original owner were to given someone ownership of a server, that new owner could always be demoted and banned by any moderator.

Obi-Wan_Pierogi: Can you please confirm if this is still an issue?

Cody_Alta: it is still an issue.
I’m the interim owner on Starlight (as the original owner stepped down).
On 31 October, I asked someone with moderator perms to ban me. It worked. I was banned.
Luckily I had given
another admin the owner role to another admin, so they were able to invite me back and give me back my role.

Cody_Alta: Was this ever looked into?

Cody_Alta Discord user innis56 can confirm that this is still an issue. He has the owner role on The Crystal Tale. He's not the original owner. A moderator was able to ban him.
