Armor Crafting

There used to be armor in the game. It would be cool if armor was back in the game and you could craft it. Very useful for the deeper levels of the caves and the forest. I think it adds some more incentive to go out and kill monsters and get materials needed to craft cool armors. It would be cool to see like light and heavy armor. I think that light armor should give less armor but have more mobility and have heavy armor be less mobile and make you slow but have a high protection value.

Armor crafting comes up quite a bit, the issue off the bat is the fact we don't have anything particularly "challenging" in the game that would really need armor. We would like to re-add Armor, but would need to also create challenges that would make armor worth it.

I'm pretty sure, alta has been talking about adding newer areas that require armor to get through, so armor/crafting may get added back!

Cody_Alta: I just feel like armor would give the player more to work for. Because honestly whenever I play the game I just play until I have the best loot and then I quit. It'd be nice to have more to do

Cody_Alta: I think that comes from the perspective of an experienced player and as an adult, for a new play and a child I think the game is extremely difficult, especially as most servers are low populated. its very hard and challenging going in to the mine say solo, so armour is very valid and needed in game now. if you think it need more then add more monster variety at deeper levels.

I think that would be a cool idea you could kill wyrms for light armor and kill turabadas for heavy armor

They used to have armor but removed it for the cosmetic shop they will probably not allow us to have armor they want your money more then your immersion sadly.

Luka: armor is coming back to the game its just that the old human was made for armor in mind but the new one isn't until ALTA remodel the armor and fit it to the current human model
